I'm a new mama who recently upped sticks and moved from London to the seaside to live a simpler life. I have a squidgy almost-two-year-old called Arlo who loves ducks and cats, and likes to spend his days knocking down towers of blocks, eating bananas and pointing and shouting "duck!" at anything he sees that's yellow.

I started A Sunny Island as a way to document all the things we get upto here on the Isle of Wight - I expect it will mostly feature pictures of beaches, babies and country walks, that kind of thing. Thanks for stopping by.
